SEMIFINAL: WOZNIACKI VS. JANKOVIC

Caroline Wozniacki defeated Jelena Jankovic in straight sets, winning 6-4, 6-4.

SEMIFINAL: PENG VS. VESNINA

Elena Vesnina (RUS) defeated Shuai Peng (CHN) in the semifinals.  Vesnina won, 7-6, 6-3.  She will meet Caroline Wozniacki in the final. 

FOLLOW THE QUARTERFINAL ACTION (Friday April 8)

Rolling into the semifinals took long matches and three sets.  The semifinalists are Caroline Wozniacki, (DEN) who will face Jalena Jankovic (SRB), and on the other side of the draw,  Shuai Peng (CHN), who will face Elena Vesnina (RUS).
