Having been both a school teacher and a divorce lawyer, I have an inordinate appreciation for Peaceful. I find each season to be tranquil in its own way: Winter, wtih its silent white
muffling of the usual cacophony of daily life; Spring with its silent but riotous burst of color and life; Summer with the steamy haze that slows pace; and Fall, with its golden
glory giving way to uninterrupted barren grays and browns when the leaves have fallen.
Although it may seem inconsistent with an appreciation for Peaceful, I celebrate the colors found in nature; the more robust, the more uproarious, the better. Each season brings its own dose of unique color and pallet of hues. I crave it. i capture it. It makes me smile.
